So I’m kind of excited about joining Patreon. With limited traditional outlets available for creative types to publish their work, and all sorts of new technology that’s been developed, it’s nice to see a platform built to help people like me make a little income off of what we love to do: make people like you laugh.
Patreon works kinda like Kickstarter, only with Kickstarter, you contribute towards a specific amount, and then it’s done. With Patreon, you commit to a certain dollar amount — say, even as little as $1 — that you contribute every time I make a #DeadChuck video. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but if I can get a few hundred people to contribute a dollar or more per video, it really helps offset the time and cost involved in making these.
Patreon has been featured in Forbes, Billboard and TIME magazines. Like I said, it can be as little as $1 per video, and there are some nice rewards to being a supporter. It’s a cool way to help folks like me keep doing what I love so folks like you can get more laughs in your day. If you’d like to support me, hop on over to my Patreon page and sign up!
#DeadChuck thanks you!
